NALAG Volunteer Coordinator role up for grabs in Dubbo

Are you looking for a role in grief counselling and volunteer coordination?
The National Association for Loss and Grief (NSW) is looking for an intake and volunteer support coordinator. This role is based in the NALAG office in Dubbo. You will be working with our established grief support volunteers and the newly developed palliative care volunteer program.
The National Association for Loss and Grief (NSW) Inc is a not for profit organisation, formed in 1977 following the Granville Train Disaster, to act as a support network for people experiencing loss and grief. The organisation continues to provide a service to individuals, families and communities through its Grief Support service and now has branches in Dubbo (Head Office), Mudgee, Bellingen/Nambucca (Miindala), Hunter and Sydney (Telephone). Each year, NALAG also conducts a variety of quality educational programs, workshops, training and mental health awareness events to enhance wellbeing and promote resilience to NSW communities following loss, grief, trauma and adverse life events.

NALAG NSW has an opening for an experienced Intake and Support Volunteer Coordinator based in Dubbo.
Do you have experience and qualifications in counselling, social work, psychology or a related discipline? Do you have experience working and mentoring volunteers? Are you able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment? Do you have excellent interpersonal skills and experience helping those with loss, grief and adversity? Do you have high level administration experience?
