South Eastern Sydney Local Health District covers a large area of Sydney from the Eastern Suburbs down to the Sutherland Shire and includes Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick, St George Hospital in Kogarah, and Sutherland Hospital in Caringbah.

Acknowledging the need to contribute to public health and compassionate networks of care, District Palliative Care is seeking to develop a new palliative care volunteer service which will work across multiple hospital sites and in the community.

They are currently recruiting to a Volunteer Manager position. This newly created role:

• is responsible for providing support for clinical services for Palliative Care to achieve business and service objectives.
• will work in collaboration with facilities to manage and develop the SESLHD Palliative Care Volunteer Service across multiple sites within SESLHD hospitals and community
• coordinate and undertake all tasks relating to recruiting and managing volunteers.
