Sharing the love for volunteers this National Volunteer Week

It’s National Volunteer Week – Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering.

The theme for #NVW2023 is ‘The Change Makers’.

What is a Change Maker? A Change Maker is someone who takes action to make the world a better place.

Across NSW, there are over 500 palliative care volunteers providing vital social support to patients, their family, and carers.

Let’s all take a moment to recognise the importance of their role and appreciate the difference they make in our communities.

To all Palliative Care volunteers, you certainly are change makers.

THANK YOU for all that you do.

Palliative Care teams and Volunteer Coordinators from all over NSW have sent video messages of thanks for us to share with you.
