About the role
The primary purpose of this position is to lead and manage the coordination of the SLHD Palliative Care Volunteer Service to ensure that the planning, organisation and scheduling of volunteer services are aligned with the SLHD Palliative Care Strategic Plan and Service objectives. The appointee will participate in a multidisciplinary palliative care team working in both SLHD Palliative Care Services and in the Community.
We are looking for someone who…
- Has previous work experience in multi-disciplinary health or welfare setting or in previous volunteer coordination.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage concurrent priorities and to work with limited supervision with high level organisation and time management skills.
- Holds a current NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 Licence acceptable).
