The 2025 Oceanic Palliative Care Conference dates and locations have been announced, with the conference set to be held from the 10th – 12th of September in Brisbane. The theme, ‘Connecting Systems for Better Care’, seeks to address the challenges of an ageing population while also sharing real-world solutions.

“One such challenge is the disconnect between different systems of care that a person living with a life-limiting illness and their family have to navigate. And as a result, many receive fragmented care and fall through the gaps,” Camilla Rowland, Palliative Care Australia CEO explained.

Dr Jo Doran, who hosted the 2023 Oceanic Palliative Care Conference, will again serve as MC for the 2025 OPCC. Dr Jo Doran has spent over 30 years working in the palliative care sector.

Abstract submissions and early bird registrations for the 2025 OPCC will open in late 2024. You can sign up to the 25OPCC mailing list here: 25OPCC mailing list
