CarerHelp – new video resource

Caring for someone at the end of their life is a very important role. People who do this help the person they care for and that person’s family and friends. They also help the community by reducing the pressure on our health care system. Australia’s 2.65 million carers are vital members of the community and we are so thankful for what they do.

CarerHelp is a comprehensive online resource for family carers who are caring for a person who is dying. It has a wealth of information covering all aspects of care and can help you provide the advice and support that is so often requested of you as a professional.

CarerHelp have recently developed a video, hosted by palliative care expert Professional Gregory Crawford, which encourages healthcare professionals to familiarise themselves with CarerHelp and most importantly, to share it with the family carers they are collaborating with.
