What are the priorities for the volunteering sector?

Speaking with Volunteer Managers I often hear about frustrations with their role – and it usually has to do with being under-resourced. Many feel their position is just not as valued as it should be within their organisation.
Volunteering Australia advocates for improved support for the volunteering sector Australia-wide. Right now they are in consultation with state peak partners and other stakeholders as they put together a pre-budget submission to the government.
They are also calling for your feedback to inform their submission. You can answer a few questions via their survey link and let them know what you think the key priorities for the volunteering sector are.
The strengths and concerns mentioned in the feedback will help inform improvements to the future of volunteering in Australia.
