PCA has announced that they are planning a pre-conference Volunteer Workshop on Monday the 31st of August, before the Australian Palliative Care Conference (1-4th September) in Melbourne.

The Workshop will be of interest to Volunteers and Managers of Volunteer Services and anyone who is supportive of Palliative Care Volunteering.

Workshop organiser Megan Evans says she hopes for about 120-170 people to attend. "The benefit of a workshop like this is that it gives delegates a more intimate opportunity to discuss presentations and issues of relevance to their world", said Megan.

Megan added that an important focus of the day will be providing Volunteers an opportunity to spend structured time together to talk about their roles.

Come to Melbourne and be involved! We will post more details as they come to hand.
