Volunteer management workshops

The Principles of Volunteer Management program, from The Beryl Institute is a 3-part virtual workshop covering foundational aspects of leading an effective healthcare volunteer program. It also provides in-depth review of policies, processes and procedures to ensure the development of a volunteer program that meets the standards of accrediting agencies.
Facilitated by Eileen McConville, MBA, CAVS, the workshop includes three two-hour virtual sessions held over three consecutive weeks. Each session is followed by a 30-minute optional question and answer period. Attendees receive an electronic workbook as a companion to the training.
Learning objectives:
- Review policies, processes and procedures required to meet standards of accrediting agencies
- Explore options for expanding and improving volunteer programs to meet the changing needs of healthcare organizations
- Gain confidence and competence through a deeper understanding of what creates and sustains successful volunteer programs
