Free Online Session for Bereaved Families

The holiday season is often a time of joy and togetherness, but for families and carers who have lost a loved one, it can also be a time of deep sadness and reflection.

On Tuesday, 9 December 2025 at 2:00 PM (AEDT), CarerHelp invites you to join a special 60-minute online session “The Empty Chair at the Table: Living with Loss During the Holidays.”

This session will be presented by Chris Hall AM, CEO of Grief Australia, a leading expert in grief and bereavement support. Chris will share practical strategies and compassionate guidance to help families navigate grief during the festive season.

The event is designed for family members and friends who are bereaved after caring for someone who died from an advanced disease or terminal illness. It will focus on:

  • Understanding grief during the holidays
  • Finding ways to honour your loved one’s memory
  • Caring for yourself while coping with loss
