  • August 21, 2018

Practicing a good self-care regimen is an important part of maintaining your well-being as a volunteer.

This is especially true for volunteers working in palliative care who are exposed to trauma, loss and grief as a part of their position.

LEEP is putting on a self-care workshop which has been specially designed to help volunteers avoid burn-out and compassion fatigue.

Learn how to

  • Learn the three pillars of self-care
  • Identify compassion fatigue and burn-out
  • Develop a self-care plan

When:   31 August, 11:30 am – 4:30 pm

Where:  Parramatta Food Services, Shop 3, 10 Hunter St Parramatta

Cost:     FREE if you volunteer in the Penrith, Hawksbury, Blue Mountains, Parramatta, Blacktown, Cumberland or The HIlls local government areas.
