The role of Staff Specialist Palliative Care works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that the Neringah Hospital and Neringah Community Palliative Care service functions in a way that aligns with the Mission, Vision and Mission-in-Action of HammondCare and ensures that the medical and other care provided to patients is of high quality

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide demonstrably high-quality specialist Palliative Care services to patients in the Northern Sydney Local Health District;
• To maintain personal professional competence in Palliative Care;
• To work within healthcare teams and with other senior medical staff in a cooperative and collegiate way, demonstrating the Mission, Motivation and Mission-in-Action of HammondCare
• Undertake teaching of medical students and trainee doctors, and undertake research in Palliative Care as opportunities present
