South Western Sydney LHD are currently looking to hire a permanent full-time Volunteer Manager.

In this role, the focus will be on hospitals/Palliative care unit and community sites within the Macarthur, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee LGAs and the successful applicant will have a crucial role in expanding the volunteer program across all community sites and hospitals within these LGAs.

This role will work in collaboration with an existing Palliative Care Volunteer Manager who focuses on hospitals/Palliative care Unit and community sites in the Bankstown, Fairfield and Liverpool LGAs.

Responsibilities will include coordinating and undertaking all tasks relating to recruiting and managing volunteers, ongoing community visiting programs and hospital/PCU programs, and supervision of volunteers. Together with the existing Volunteer Manager you will will be expected to provide cross cover for each other during periods of leave.
