Palliative Care Australia is seeking three new Directors to fill vacant positions on the organisation’s Board.
The members of Palliative Care Australia are the Palliative Care peak body organisations in each state, such as Palliative Care NSW, the Australia New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine (ANZSPM), Palliative Care Nurses Australia, Paediatric Palliative Care Australia and New Zealand, and Palliative Care Social Work Australia
Nominations for the positions are open until 18 August.
The voluntary roles offer the opportunity to contribute to PCA’s advocacy, awareness raising activities, policy development, and sector capacity building. To be an effective organisation, PCA requires Board Directors with a mix of skills and experience that strengthen and diversify governance and thinking.
The work of the Board contributes to PCA’s ambitious objectives. As a Director, you will be exposed to new and different issues, work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, represent PCA, and share in their achievements.
