New graduates at the Western Sydney Palliative Care Volunteer Service

In February, the Western Sydney Palliative Care Volunteer Service welcomed some new recruits. Induction training was completed by nine new palliative care volunteers plus four new palliative care biography volunteers.

Some of the volunteers have been waiting more than two years to do the training and this demonstrates how strong the dedication and interest is in the community in providing support and care to palliative care clients in Western Sydney.

Thanks to ongoing cooperation between Supportive and Palliative Care Services one biography volunteer from the Nepean/Hawkesbury service was able to join this training.

5 new volunteer biographers finish their training

Congratulations and thank you for volunteering in Palliative Care!
