Good news for the disadvantaged or those in rural, regional or remote areas – the Department of Social Services has a range of scholarships available to attend the National Volunteering Conference 2018.

Hosted by Volunteering Australia, the conference is on from June 20 – 22 at the Sydney International Convention Centre. The theme is "Ignite, Invigorate, Inspire"

There are several part and full scholarships available for coordinators and managers of volunteers, not for profit leaders and community leaders who would not be able to attend this conference without assisstance. They can cover the costs including registration, travel and accommodation expenses.

For full details, terms and conditions, and how to apply, go to their website.
