Meet our latest research intern

  • by Maria Lopez
  • March 7, 2024

James MacDonald joins us as an intern from Macquarie University as part of Professional Social Research Project unit, and will be conducting a research project for the Volunteer Support Services Programme. His research will report on the recovery of palliative care volunteers services following the COVID shutdown.

Macquarie University’s PACE (Professional And Community Engagement) Program provides students with the opportunity to gain practical exposure to experience how the skills they learn translate into a career.

Completing his Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Political Economy and Social Policy this semester. James is interested in changing societal ideas away from traditional forms of value, GDP for productivity, settler-colonialism, helping people who don’t have a voice to be more of a voice.

Welcome James!
