Palliative Care Volunteer Biography Service Training

Are you looking to expand your volunteer service by introducing palliative care biography? This comprehensive workshop will equip you with the skills and knowledge to implement and manage a palliative care volunteer biography service for your community.

Biography services help clients reflect on their lives, share their stories, and create a legacy document for loved ones in palliative care. A therapeutic biography service empowers volunteers support clients with the process of “dying well.” This session will prepare leaders to run their own palliative care biography services from conducting the biography to delivering the final legacy document.

Attendees will receive a comprehensive training manual which includes templates for service provision.

Date: Wednesday 2nd of April 2025
Time: 10AM – 4PM
Who: Palliative care volunteer managers who are wanting to introduce a biography service. Some volunteers may attend with their managers.
Cost: $75. Lunch and morning tea will be provided.
