ANZSCO Review

  • by Kate Bowman
  • October 5, 2023

The Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) describes all occupations in the Australian and New Zealand labour markets.

ANZSCO is currently being reviewed by the Australian Bureau of Statistics and Volunteering Australia are advocating to get Volunteer Managers (Coordinators/Leaders) included in the revised classification.

ANZSCO is important because it is used to describe data for governments, industry, and businesses to inform and shape educational pathways, skilled migration programs and workforce strategies.
