Next week Palliative Care Volunteers from around NSW and the ACT will gather in Maitland for the biennial NSW Palliative Care Volunteer Conference entitled Expressions of Care.
Convenor Sarah Potter said “Expressions of Care refers to the art of compassion, and the unique calling of palliative care volunteers to express their care artfully and compassionately. We hope that attendees will take away new ideas for expressing their own humanity through art, and also a new energy for their role in supporting people in Palliative Care.”
Registrations are now fully subscribed to the event which is being held at the Mercure Monte Pio. A big thank you to sponsors The Friends of Palliative Care, Winston Hills Mall, CareSearch & Picaluna. Volunteers for Palliative Care, Palliative Care NSW, Beyond Bank, Schweppes and Cancer Council NSW are providing in-kind support.
