Palliative Care Australia’s Art Competition is back for its sixth year and we would like to invite you to take part!
The 2021 Art Competition is open for eight weeks and closes on 25 August.
You don’t have to be an artist, just someone with a palliative care story to tell.
This year’s theme will be “Live as well as possible, as long as possible”.
This theme highlights an important aspect of palliative care – ensuring people with life-limiting conditions can continue to do the things they enjoy most and be around the people they love for as long as possible.
There are many prizes on offer, including:
- Overall Winner’s Award: $1,000
- People’s Choice Award: $500
- First Nations award: $500
- And a number of minor prizes worth $250 recognising young and emerging artists.
Your art can be in the form of a painting, digital image, drawing, photograph, or object.
We look forward to you joining us again in raising awareness about the benefits of palliative care in creative and interesting ways.
