Recently, in the Hunter region, Tina Pidcock told us how she got involved with palliative care and as a Community Programs Coordinator.  Tina works with Cancer Council NSW, for the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Palliative Care Volunteer Service.

Tina Pidcock coordinates the program based in Charlestown.  The companionship and respite service covers the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie LGAs. Cancer Council works in partnership and collaboration with the Newcastle Calvary Mater Hospital to support patients at home and in the community.
