This National Volunteer Week saw four volunteers from HammondCare Braeside Hospital receive awards recognising their many years of dedicated service.
Diana Di Giovanni, Volunteer Coordinator, said the service hosted a National Volunteer Week luncheon to say thank you to their team of volunteers.
“I’m so lucky to have such a dedicated and amazing team of volunteers here at Braeside,” said Diana, “I’m so glad we could come together during National Volunteer Week to celebrate their contributions.”
The service chose to honour four volunteers at the event who collectively have racked up fifty-three years of service. Sunil Mathew, Operations Manager and Director of Nursing Health, was there to present them with Years of Service awards.
The awarded volunteers were;
Anna Froio – 15 years of service
Maria Demartin – 23 years of service
Maureen Farrugia – 10 years of service
Denis Price – 5 years of service
Congratulations to them and the whole team.
“It was a great turnout to the event and we all had a wonderful time celebrating volunteering,” Diana said.
