The Far West LHD held their Volunteer Award Ceremony on Saturday 25th May.

The ceremony acknowledges the wonderful contribution made by various volunteers within the LHD. The Broken Hill Dementia/ Delirium and Palliative Care Volunteer Team received the Far West LHD Team of the Year.

Melissa Cumming, Director Cancer and Palliative Care Services FWLHD said, “We are incredibly proud of the contribution our Palliative Care volunteers make to the lives of the patients and carers the visit. I also wish to thank Janet Pearce Palliative Care Volunteer Coordinator, for her exceptional oversight of the Palliative Care Volunteer Service and her untiring support of the volunteers.”
