Proveda’s new Compassionate Connector program is reaching out to people interested in making a meaningful impact in end-of-life care.

Anna Petinsky, Compassionate Connector Program Coordinator, talked to us about the importance of the program, explaining that it offers volunteers the chance to be part of a compassionate community, providing emotional and practical support to individuals and families navigating the challenging journey of end-of-life care.

“There is a significant need for more volunteers in this space, and this training will prepare participants to make a difference,” she said.

The organisation is offering a free volunteer training opportunity on March 18 and 19 in Seaforth. With only a few spaces remaining, Proveda urges anyone who may be interested in joining the program to sign up.
