What do we know about volunteers in residential aged care? What do they know about Palliative Care? Megan Burke will soon have the answers. Megan is a Master in Social Research student from Macquarie University and has been placed with us this semester to create new knowledge about volunteering and aged care. Imagine if we could invest Palliative Care training into residential aged care volunteers. Wouldn’t that transform the way in which residents experienced their end of life? Stay tuned for updates from Megan’s work.
