Registrations and Abstracts open for 2019 NSW Palliative Care Volunteer Conference

2019 NSW Palliative Care Volunteer Conference 3-4 June Blacktown.

We are pleased to announce that the next volunteers conference will be held in Blacktown next year.

The theme for the conference Relationships in Palliative Care: A therapeutic alliance highlights the importance of relationships in the support provided by volunteers in supportive and palliative care.

Individual and group registrations are available. Click here to find out more about Registrations.

Day 1 consists of afternoon workshops – choose from 1 of 3 – that look variously at how the human condition copes with life and the ending of life. Day 2 is a conference format with key speakers exploring palliative care, trauma, resilience, art, expression, biography and memories. Click here to see the Program.

For the first time we are seeking attendees to present on their experiences and involvement in palliative care volunteering or management. Click here to find out more about giving a presentation and sending us an Abstract.

We look forward to seeing you in Blacktown in June!
