2019 NSW Palliative Care Volunteer Conference 3-4 June Blacktown.

We are pleased to announce that the next volunteers conference will be held in Blacktown next year.

The theme for the conference Relationships in Palliative Care: A therapeutic alliance highlights the importance of relationships in the support provided by volunteers in supportive and palliative care.

Day 1 consists of afternoon workshops – choose from 1 of 3 – that look variously at how the human condition copes with life and the ending of life. Day 2 is a conference format with key speakers exploring palliative care, trauma, resilience, art, expression, biography and memories. Click here to see the Program.
