National Volunteer Week PalliLEARN session
- by Anthony Bui
- April 22, 2025
In celebration of National Volunteer Week, Palliative Care NSW with support from Palliative Care Australia are pleased to offer volunteers this special education opportunity to join our online ‘How to Talk About Dying and Grief‘ PalliLEARN session.
Palliative care volunteers are often challenged by discussions of grief, loss, and dying with their clients. Understanding how to approach these conversations with compassion and sensitivity can help you better support people experiencing grief and loss.
What you will learn:
- Develop the confidence to initiate and navigate conversations about dying and grief
- Learn strategies to listen and respond compassionately
- Recognise the importance of self-care and follow-up for those involved in the conversation

Time: 11:00AM – 12:00PM (AEST)
Venue: Online via Zoom
