LOHVE Benchmark study

  • by Kate Bowman
  • March 17, 2022

Each year, the Leaders of Health Volunteer Engagement (LOHVE) Network engages in research which gathers and shares data about volunteer programs within the health sector providing a longitudinal benchmark of useful industry specific information.

This is the ninth year they have engaged in this research which is important to help track, promote and improve programs, and improve volunteering strategies.

Sharon Walsh, LOHVE Network  Founder and Chair says, “The previous benchmarks have proven to be beneficial to many individuals in the network as well as raised the profile for the network and some of the issues our programs face.  So, I would encourage you to get involved and to share it with other health volunteer managers and coordinators who may not be in the network.  Those of you who have participated in previous benchmarks, it will be good for you to see if/and what patterns are emerging, and, for any new organisations it will be an opportunity for you to commence tracking your programs while making comparisons with others”.

The survey should not take more than 15 minutes and is open until 5pm on Friday April 8.
