Eastern Palliative Care in Mitcham, Victoria runs a large, unique and responsive national award winning Biography Program (as evidenced by PhD research).  It is highly successful and to date over 1600 client biographies have been completed.

EPC’s volunteers report a 99% satisfaction rate on externally audited surveys and their volunteer program scored the highest across 14 of the national benchmarks. The trainers have decades of experience in volunteer management.

EPC’s Centre for Volunteer Excellence is now in place to teach and support other organisations in how they can also achieve this level of success and build their own biography and volunteer programs.

What is on offer?

• Train the trainer in how to develop a volunteer biography program.  Three streams available. For staff and leaders of the program.
• Train the biography volunteers. For volunteers.
• Mentoring offers – Direct mentoring with the leaders of EPC’s volunteer programs to work on your own volunteer program.  This can be tailored to your point of need and is not restricted to just biography. Individual or group sessions can be purchased. 

All training and mentoring are delivered via zoom which allows for easier accessibility.
