25^th October to 6^th December, weekly sessions, Mullumbimby.

The Last Aid Course is to be held again at Byron Community College starting on the 25^th of October.

The course has a close affiliation with Amitayus Home Hospice Service and is lead by Don Hansen. Don has been with Amitayus/Byron Hospice for 15 years and has served as president, volunteer coordinator, and recently he’s focused on volunteer training.

After years of spiritual seeking and travel, his personal experience and study of death and dying inspired him to join Amitayus. He remains active as a volunteer carer whenever possible.

The promoters say that during the course participants will learn how to be of genuine service to others, who may be family or friends, who are dying and who have chosen to die at home.

Any person can attend this course and it may lead-on to full training as a volunteer with Amitayus Home Hospice Service.
