Update – DSS Volunteer Grants 2016 now open!

The Department of Social Security offers Strengthening Communities Volunteer Grants to organisations that support volunteers.
Their 2016 Grant Round opened on the 8th of November and is advertised to close on the 20th of December 2016.
Their website states that the grants are “part of the Government’s work to support the volunteers who help disadvantaged Australian communities and encourage inclusion of vulnerable people in community life.”
