Concord Hospital volunteers get the goodies

Volunteers from Concord Hospital will be celebrated this National Volunteer Week with a special appreciation lunch.
Jacquie Martinez, Volunteer and Complementary Therapies Co-ordinator, has also made up special goodie bags for each of her volunteers to remind them how important they are to the team and to thank them for all their hard work.
The note inside the goodie bag reads;
Dear Volunteer,
I have put together a Survival Kit to arm you with the necessary tools to assist you during your roster, good luck team.
1. A packet of tissues to wipe away tears – yours or others.
2. A Camomile Tea to help you relax.
3. A paper clip so you can keep it all together.
4. An elastic band so you can bounce back.
5. A pen so that you are ready and always on point.
6. A bar of chocolate to remind you that the sweetness of laughter is the best medicine.
Thank you for all that you do. We really appreciate you. Happy Volunteer Day 2024
