Call for Participants: The EARLI Project

Researchers from the University of New South Wales and Neuroscience Research Australia are looking for volunteers to join the Enhanced Advance care planning and life Review Longitudinal Intervention (EARLI) project. You may have patients or clients who meet the eligibility criteria and may be interested in participating in this project.

The EARLI project aims to investigate whether life story work (telling some of your life story) in combination with advance care planning can help people to feel better (improved mood, better relationship quality) and more clear about their future care. In the EARLI project, a trained facilitator visits participants at home, helping them to document their life story and assisting with discussions and documentation about advance care planning. The four-session program also involves an invitation to a final meeting with the participant’s treating health professional (General Practitioner or Medical Specialist).

The trial is open to people who are living at home, in the Sydney metropolitan and Nepean/Blue Mountains area, who meet the eligibility criteria.

To find out if you are eligible, fill in the brief expression of interest form below HERE

If you have any patients who may be interested in participating in the EARLI project, you can provide them with more information here.
