The CCLHD is beaming with pride for their hospital volunteers who took out Team of the Year at the Regional NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards.

Above photo shows volunteers Gail McKenna, Kerry Pearson and Lorriane Bullivant (L-R).

From welcoming visitors and making tea and coffee, to restocking supplies, delivering comfort packs, and visiting palliative patients in the community, their incredible volunteers provide invaluable support to patients and clinical staff – there’s nothing they can’t do!

“Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our hospitals. We couldn’t do what we do without them” Volunteer Services Manager Kami Dibden said.

“I am absolutely thrilled their hard work and commitment has been recognised in this way.”

The team is now in the running for NSW Volunteer Team of the Year at a gala state ceremony later this year.

Congratulations!!
