The wonderful team of volunteers at Auburn Supportive and Palliative Care Unit have been awarded the 2025 Community Representatives Award at Auburn Hospital’s recent quality awards.
The Auburn Hospital Supportive and Palliative Care Unit is a dedicated 15 bed unit committed to providing exceptional, compassionate, supportive, palliative and end-of-life care for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families and carers.
For the last two years, this small but dedicated volunteer team has been led by the amazing Liz MacKintosh. Their capacity to support the community has recently increased with the addition of three new volunteers.
Congratulations to the team.
