Friends of Palliative Care Fun Run
- by Kate Bowman
- February 25, 2025
Friends of Palliative Care is a volunteer-run organisation that provides assistance to palliative care services in the lower Hunter. Tickets are now on sale for their Annual Walk & Fun Run which is their major fundraiser.
The event includes a 10km Fun Run, a 5km Fun Run and a 5km Walk which is suitable for all ages, stages and abilities.
Food and beverages will be on sale as well as raffle tickets, with the raffle being drawn at the conclusion of the event. The morning will conclude with a small ceremony to remember those lost and to support those currently fighting.
All funds raised on the day go directly to supporting individuals and their families in the Hunter Valley in end of life and palliative care. Last year they raised just over $30 000.
Come along and join in the fun.
