- by Maria Lopez
 - January 13, 2025

The 2024-2025 Volunteer Grants aim to reduce barriers for volunteers and increase participation in volunteering, ensuring vital community work continues to thrive.
Grants of $1,000 to $5,000 are available to eligible not-for-profit community organisations that rely on volunteers. These grants can help:
- Purchase communication or insurance items.
 - Support volunteer-run activities focused on the wellbeing and development of children (under 18).

The 2024-25 Volunteer Grants Round is now open for expressions of interest through Federal Members of Parliament (MPs).
Key Details:
- Read the Grant Opportunity Guidelines on Community Grants Hub.
 - Contact your local Federal MP for instructions on submitting an expression of interest.
 - Organisations nominated by their MP will be invited to complete an application form in February 2025.

This is a great opportunity to support and strengthen the work of volunteers in your community.
