2023 SCHN Palliative Care Symposium: Call for abstracts

Abstracts are invited for presentations at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network Paediatric Palliative Care Symposium, which will be held on Thursday March 2nd, 2023. This will be a face-to-face event. The Annual Symposium is an opportunity for health professionals to share new research and innovations at this educational, networking event.
The 2023 Symposium theme is “Care. Quality. Excellence.” Abstracts are welcome for 10-20 minute oral presentations or poster presentations reflecting the Symposium theme which include new and innovative forms of practice from differing health disciplines.
Abstracts relating to volunteering would fall under Category 3. Bereavement/Social Support.
Categories for consideration may include but are not limited to:
1. Advances in Allied Health
2. Current research, quality initiatives or examples of evidence-based practice relating to paediatric palliative care
3. Bereavement/ Social support
4. Research in Paediatric Palliative Care
5. Learning from Consumers/Consumer Engagement
