National Volunteer Week is 20 -26 May. This year the theme is ‘Making a world of difference.’

National Volunteer Week is the annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation’s volunteers. It is a time to promote the value of volunteers and volunteering, and aims to celebrate and recognise the social, cultural and economic contribution of volunteers.

This year Volunteering Australia will be celebrating 30 years of National Volunteer Week and they are asking volunteers and people working in the volunteer sector to help to commemorate this important milestone by sharing their volunteering stories.

Do you have a volunteering story you’d like to share?  You can do so by completing their short survey before Monday April 8. If you have a photo to share you can leave your contact details and Volunteering Australia will get in touch with you.

Click here to take the survey. Survey closes on Monday 8 April.
