We would like to invite you to a special online information session about Palliative Care NSW Volunteer Support Services Programme.

Following the interest at the Oceanic Palliative Care Conference 2023 about our Volunteer Support Services Programme, we are holding an information session to answer all your queries.

Date: Oct 12, 2023
Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00PM (AEDT)

Volunteer Support Services Programme (VSSP)

As part of Palliative Care New South Wales, the Volunteer Support Services Programme is here to champion palliative care volunteering across the state.

We provide resources, education, and support to palliative care volunteers and volunteer services and work towards building capacity in the sector.

We are available to consult with organisations looking to introduce palliative care volunteering into their service, whether that be to reinvigorate an existing service or to build one from scratch. We can help you understand the role of volunteers and how they add value to your service, the importance of proper volunteer management, and advise on policy and procedure.

Our experience, networks, and research all contribute to a body of knowledge on palliative care volunteering. Let our expertise help you create better end of life outcomes for people under the care of your service.

This is a free event however registration is required.
