Parkes Palliative Care Conference July 2017

Conference Friday 21st July, 2017

Registrations close on Monday 17th July, 2017 (scroll down to register).

The Parkes Palliative Care Volunteer Service would like to welcome you to Parkes this July for their conference, "Pain Is More Than Pills".

The role of a palliative care volunteer is diverse and rarely straightforward. Encountering clients in pain often goes with the territory. This conference aims to delineate pain and suffering from a physical perspective and incorporate a psychosocial, spiritual and cultural perspective. As well as presentations from the key speakers there will be informative and interactive discussions, networking opportunities plus time to reflect on the role of volunteers in palliative care today.

Please register your attendance (below) and then pay the Conference Registration of $40 per person on the day.
