National Volunteer Week 2020

  • March 19, 2020

National Volunteer Week 2020 will be held between 18 – 24 May. This year the theme is “Changing Communities. Changing Lives.”

The theme is reflective of the impact volunteers have on communities. Volunteers commit countless hours serving their communities across the nation and help to change the lives of those living in them.

Volunteering Australia has a bunch of resources available from their website including posters, social media tiles and email signature banners.

They also have Certificates of Appreciation available for download. These templates allow you to personalise your certificates with the names of your volunteers. These are a great way to let your volunteers know how much you value their service.

While a lot of us may have suspended or curtailed volunteer services for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus threat, we can still take the time to let our volunteers feel appreciated.

Click here to find these resources on their website.
