2019 Grieve Writing Project

Please be reminded of the following Grieve Writing Project upcoming events:

  • At 3pm, Tuesday August 6th, join Grieve Writing Project at Newcastle Art Gallery for the live reading of selected works from past Grieve anthologies
  • 9.30am, Thursday August 8th – Beresfield
  • 2pm, Saturday August 17th – Join the 2019 Grieve Writing Project on at their webpage for the broadcast of the 2019 Grieve Project: 25 prizewinning works announced and read (with captions); Announcement of all authors selected to be published in the 2019 anthology; Launch of the 2019 Grieve anthology

Since 2013, Hunter Writers Centre and partner-sponsors have brought this opportunity to first-time and published writers.

Each year, Australians living here and abroad submit poems and stories/personal essays and 100-120 works are published in the annual anthology.
